Saying:
पूत सपूत तो क्यूँ धन संचै, पूत कपूत तो क्यूँ धन संचै ।
If son is worthy, why accumulate wealth, if son is unworthy, why accumulate wealth.
Meaning:
People accumulate wealth so as to leave it to their children. However, if the children are worthy, they will be able to earn their own fortunes. And if they are not, they’ll run through any fortune left for them in inheritance.
Hence this saying that it is futile to accumulate wealth in order to leave it for your children.
