I am a computer software professional who now follows his twin passions of music and writing.
I’ve been learning singing off and on since 1979, and am learning Dhrupad, the oldest surviving form of Indian Classical Music, since 2002.
I’ve given a few public performances, and have recently published a music CD exploring India Classical Music as music therapy. I conduct voice culture programs and have recently trained students at FTII, India’s premier film and television institute.
I write in both English and Hindi. Most of my poetries are in Hindi, while English is my language of choice for writing stories and articles. My poetries, stories and articles have been published in many anthologies. I have also co-authored 6 books on computer programming.
I hope you enjoy my posts. Happy Reading!
